Day 1: Departure from Delhi. Your sacred journey begins from Delhi in the evening. Board your AC Volvo / train (flight option available on request) and relax as we head towards the Valley of Kashmir. Overnight journey. (Meals: None)

Day 2  Arrival & Delhi/Transit Sightseeing Depending on your travel mode, enjoy a relaxed transit day. Flight passengers can cover a short Delhi darshan, Akshardham, Birla Mandir and ISKCON before the evening departure to Srinagar. Overnight at the hotel / in transit. (Meals: Dinner, if hotel night)

Day 3: Welcome to Srinagar, the Crown of Kashmir. Arrive in Srinagar, where our representative welcomes you with a refreshing drink. Check in and unwind, then head out for the famous Mughal Gardens Nishat Bagh, Shalimar Bagh and Chashme Shahi, followed by a serene evening shikara ride on Dal Lake (optional). Dinner and overnight in Srinagar. (Meals: Dinner)

Day 4 Srinagar at Leisure + Yatra Preparations A relaxed day to acclimatise. Visit Shankaracharya Temple and Hazratbal Shrine, shop at Lal Chowk, and complete your RFID card collection and final yatra checks with our coordinator. Dinner and overnight in Srinagar. (Meals: Breakfast, Dinner)

Day 5 Srinagar to Pahalgam (90 km / approx. 3 hrs) After breakfast, drive through saffron fields and the Lidder Valley to Pahalgam, the traditional gateway of the Amarnath Yatra. Visit Betaab Valley or relax by the Lidder River. Dinner and overnight in Pahalgam. (Meals: Breakfast, Dinner)

Day 6 Pahalgam → Chandanwari (16 km drive) → Sheshnag (13 km trek) Early morning, drive to Chandanwari, the trek base. Begin the classic yatra trail with the steep Pissu Top climb, rewarded by panoramic Himalayan views, and reach the emerald Sheshnag Lake by evening. Free langar meals are available along the route. Overnight at Sheshnag camp. (Camp stay)

Day 7 Sheshnag → Mahagunas Pass (4,276 m) → Panchtarni (14 km trek) Cross the highest point of the yatra, Mahagunas Top, and descend through wildflower meadows to Panchtarni, where five streams meet. Soak in the tranquillity of this sacred campsite, just 6 km from the holy cave. Overnight at Panchtarni camp. (Camp stay)

Day 8  Holy Amarnath Cave Darshan → Descend via Baltal The most awaited day. Start before dawn for the final 6 km trek to the holy Amarnath Cave (3,888 m) and have darshan of the naturally formed Ice Shivling — Baba Barfani. After prayers, descend the shorter Baltal route (approx. 14 km), where our vehicle transfers you to your hotel in Sonamarg/Srinagar. Dinner and overnight stay. (Meals: Dinner)

Day 9  Excursion to Sonamarg, the Meadow of Gold. Celebrate your successful yatra with a scenic day in Sonamarg. Take an optional pony ride to Thajiwas Glacier and enjoy the golden meadows beside the Sindh River. Return for a farewell dinner and overnight in Srinagar. (Meals: Breakfast, Dinner)

Day 10  Departure: Srinagar to Delhi. After breakfast, check out with divine memories and the blessings of Lord Shiva. Transfer to Srinagar airport / TRC for your onward journey to Delhi. Tour concludes. (Meals: Breakfast)

Short on time or travelling with senior citizens? Choose our helicopter add-on. Fly Delhi → Srinagar, drive to Neelgrath helipad (near Baltal), and take the helicopter to Panchtarni from where the holy cave is just a 6 km trek (pony/palki available).

  • Helicopter tickets are issued only through SASB-authorised official channels and sell out quickly. We assist with bookings as soon as the window opens.
  • CHC and registration remain mandatory even for helicopter passengers.
